Tonight is opening night for CH-CH Theatre's Spring production, "Queens". We're excited to share some highlights from yesterday's dress rehearsal and media day!
In this play, King Henry VIII finds himself trapped in purgatory, bound to his throne by a sinister Fool and the ghostly Women in White. Condemned to his gilded cage, Henry is forced to relive the sins committed against his queens, mistresses, and people of the court, an eternal punishment for his mortal transgressions.
Our student performers have brought incredible depth and emotion to their roles, delivering performances that are extraordinary. Equally impressive is the work of our student Theatre Tech team, who have created stunning sets, props, and elaborate period costumes that will transport the audience to Henry's tormented afterlife.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this powerful production! Check out our full gallery from the dress rehearsal and media day here.
