Congratulations to Cy Perkins (‘25) on being named the 2025 MBIL DII Ultimate Frisbee MVP! As captain, Cy led the Chargers to their first Ultimate Frisbee championship title in school history. Throughout the season Cy’s athleticism and elite field sense were unmatched. He always knew where to be and his strategic timing and ability to exploit mismatches kept defenders guessing. He brought speed, agility, and endurance to every point—routinely making high-effort plays look effortless.
“As a captain, Cy led by example. He brought a steady, competitive spirit to every practice and
game, raising the standard for everyone around him. His presence on the field was confident
and composed, and off the field, he helped build a culture of respect and accountability. He was
a voice of encouragement, and his belief in his teammates never wavered.” - Coach DiOrio
